No matter, here we go.</span></span><br /><br /><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">What is this Blog about? It’s about Builders in Spain. It’s about finding builders in Malaga province, if you live in some far flung place and need a roof repair, if you’ve bought a property that is in need of renovation and you need a great builder to help you with the project, then its Builder Spain aim to put you in touch with these builders.</span><br /><br /><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">As anyone would know who has lived in Spain, in particular Andalucia, builders are ten- a-penny, true, there are thousands of “builders” with varying degrees of competence, some are fantastic whilst others are dreadful. It’s very sad but true.</span><br /><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The good builders will make your property worth every penny and more besides, the bad builders can cost you a fortune. </span><br /><br /><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">I have never been one to take a negative view of life but then again, I’m not stupid. Here in Andalucia we have “builders” with what we call “Easy jet” qualifications that means that they were anything other than builders in the UK, Ireland or wherever they came from but out of necessity they have become builders on their way from the airport. If you think this is a joke, it’s not! </span><br /><br /><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">I have known builders who were IT workers, factory workers and other occupations who suddenly become plasterers, brickies, plumbers and sparkies, some have morphed into master builders the minute they reached Andalucia. True.</span><br /><br /><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">I hope to collect a list of decent, qualified tradesmen who will give good service and fair prices. I hope those reading this Blog will help me by sending in stories, photographs, and recommendations or even blow the whistle on the charlatans and scoundrels who are taking advantage of expats in need of help.</span><br /><br /><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">“Hello?” Your thinking that you have stumbled upon a latter day Bob Geldoff who is prepared to offer his services for free and for the benefit of those in need. My arse! I hope to promote Builders in Andalucia, Building services on the Costa del Sol, Building supplies, UPVC Windows in Granada and other trade websites, that’s what I’m good at. </span><br /><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">I am the worst “Builder” you could ever meet, no, the “Builder” who rendered my walls was the worst builder you would ever meet, the painter who painted my house was the worst painter you would ever meet and the real estate agent that sold me the place was worse than them all put together.
